How Billing Works
BizwaChat uses a simple, transparent billing model:
- • Billing Cycle: Monthly (charged on the same date each month) or Annual (if you choose an annual plan)
- • Prorated Credit: If you cancel mid-month, you receive a prorated credit for unused service days
- • Advance Payment: Payment is collected at the beginning of each billing cycle (before you use the service)

How to Cancel Your Subscription
Self-Service Cancellation (Easiest)
Log Into Your Account
Go to your BizwaChat dashboard and sign in
Go to Account Settings
Navigate to Settings → Billing & Subscription
Click Cancel Subscription
You'll see the "Cancel Subscription" button in the Billing section
Confirm Cancellation
You'll be asked to confirm your decision and optionally provide feedback
Cancellation Confirmed
Your subscription will be cancelled at the end of your current billing period

If you have trouble cancelling through the portal or need additional assistance:

What Happens After Cancellation
📊 Data Access
Your account and all associated data remain accessible until the end of your billing cycle. After your subscription ends, your account will be marked as inactive.
⏰ Account Data Retention
Inactive accounts are kept for 30 days to allow you to reactivate your subscription if you change your mind.
After 30 days: Your account and all data (messages, conversations, contacts) will be permanently deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.
🔄 Reactivation
Change your mind? You can reactivate your account within 30 days of cancellation without losing any data.
Simply log back into your account and select "Reactivate Subscription" from the billing section.
💬 WhatsApp Connection
Upon cancellation, BizwaChat's access to your WhatsApp Business Account is revoked. Your WhatsApp account itself remains active; you simply lose the ability to use our platform to manage it.
✉ Communications
We may send you emails about special offers to win you back, but you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Before You Cancel...
We'd love to help you get more value from BizwaChat! Consider these alternatives:
⏸ Pause Your Subscription
If you just need a temporary break, we can pause your account for up to 90 days. You won't be charged, but your data remains safe.
📉 Downgrade Your Plan
Switching to a lower-tier plan allows you to reduce costs while maintaining access to core features. You'll receive a prorated credit for any overpayment.
🆘 Talk to Our Team
Our support team may be able to help you troubleshoot issues, answer questions, or find a better plan for your needs. Reach out before making a final decision!
